EXAMPLES FOR OUR PAPER • The feeling of disconnect from the world is very apparent in the novella’s main character, GregorSamsa. • The Metamorphosis should be considered a part of the existentialist movement because of its feelings of hopelessness throughout the novella. • A second piece of evidence to prove that The Metamorphosis should be a part of the Existentialist movement is the unrealistic reaction to the odd situation Gregor and his family faces.
