  4. BY REPENTING AND HAVING FAITH IN GOD

  5. “After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. “The time has come,” he said.“ The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!” MARK 1: 14-15

  7. METANOIA = CHANGE OF MIND “METANOIA” = CHANGE OF MIND

  8. CHANGE IN DIRECTION

  9. TURNING AWAY FROM SIN, EVIL, WRONGDOING AND RUNNING YOUR OWN LIFE.

  10. “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—i am about to spit you out of my mouth.” REVELATION 3:15-16

  11. WHAT REPENTANCE IS NOT

  12. NOT DEPENDENT ON FEELINGS

  13. WHAT MUST WE DO TO REPENT?

  14. BE HONEST

  15. EXERCISE HUMILITY

  16. RENOUNCE SIN

  17. ASK GOD’S FORGIVENESS

  18. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 JOHN 1:9

  22. BELIEVING IN THE GOSPEL AND BELIEVING IN GOD

  26. FAITH IS NOT JUST

  27. FAITH IS NOT BLIND LEAP

  28. FAITH IS ACCEPTING A NEW LIFE FROM GOD AND LIVING IT TO THE FULLEST

  29. REPENTANCE AND FAITH: A GREAT BLESSING

  31. A PROMISE OF SALVATION FROM SIN, SATAN AND DEATH

  32. A PROMISE OF FORGIVENESS AND ETERNAL LIFE WITH GOD

  33. “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened..

  34. …Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” LUKE 11:9-13

  36. JESUS IS CALLING US TO REPENT AND BELIEVE IN HIM

  37. TAKE GOD UP ON HIS PROMISE OF A NEW, HAPPIER AND MORE PEACEFUL LIFE WITH HIM.
