United Way of Eastern LaSalle County Community Impact 92 – Labor of Love (Home Restoration Program) 95 – Letter Carrier’s Food Drive (Promotion, volunteer recruitment) 98 – Community Food Basket (Established & managed 1 year - $20,700 start-up) 99 – Community Food Basket became stand alone agency 99 – School Tools (School supplies for 1500 low income students - $10,000 worth annually) 99/01 – FOCUS 2001 (Community Needs Assessment) 00 – DHS Front Door Funds (Fiscal Agent & Community Partner of $10,000 grant) 03 – Bridges Community Center (Senior Center) $18,400 start-up 03 – Community Care Program (Emergency/Basic Needs Assistance $35,000 annually) 04 – Utica/Granville Tornado Relief (Raised & distributed $37,000) 04/05 – Mayor’s Drug Task Force (Participant & Grantor $500) 05/06 – Community Health Clinic for uninsured ($40,000 start-up) 06 – Volunteer Recognition Event 07/08 – “Bornlearning” & “Dolly Parton Imagination Library” 08/09 – Financial Stability (VITA) Volunteer Income Tax Assistance 09 – Flood Relief distribution of $80,000 (Fiscal Agent & Community Partner) 09 – Distributing AARA Economic Stimulus Money (emergency shelter & utilities - $16,800 Ongoing Programs: EFSP – Information & Referral – Volunteer Coordination – Gift-in-Kind - Website Results matter . . .
