  34. KISAN CALL CENTER Kisan call center established at Bhopal by State Govt. The technical partner is ISAP Center Started functioning from 2nd September 2008 Kisan call center is operational from 7 am to 7 pm Toll free number 1800-233-4433 Equipped with latest technology like internet access, recording of calls and conversation of callers and experts, conference facility. A software to enhance the effectiveness of knowledge-based environment More then one lakh calls received within 6 months.

  37. Kisan Vaani Sironj (CRS) First Community Radio Station in state started with partnership of ISAP Regular transmission has started from 19.11.2008 Regular broadcasting of :- Mandi Rate, Govt. Schemes, Experts advice, Improved Agriculture practices, Social Awareness programmes etc. Timing of Broadcasting is 6:00 A.M. to 7:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Computer and other accessories for recording, dubbing, editing and transmission.

  38. Innovative Activities Under ATMA 8 PP Partners are working. 18 New proposal are under process ATMA SANDESH, monthly news letter being published with one Lakh copies. New MAPWA scheme for women farmers has been implemented A new scheme launched for SC/ST farmers with the objectives to make them aware of latest Agriculture technology Kisan-rath to disseminate technology

Best practices adopted by the State SRI – System of Rice Intensification Special programme for Basmati Rice Replacement of upland Paddy with Oilseed & Pulses Ridge & Furrow cultivation & Raised bed planting in Soybean Hy. Paddy, Jowar, Maize & Bajara programme Technological demonstration of crops (at least one demonstration per village) Establishment of FFS on large scale

Best practices adopted by the State Seed treatment on large scale Increasing seed replacement rate Intercropping Water management & augmentation of ground water Balram Talab for life saving irrigation. Focus on minor irrigation through toping up subsidy for sprinkler, drip, rain-gun IPM Transfer of technology through ATMA Scheme Capacity building of field functionaries Promotion of Bio-fertilizer & Micro nutrients.
