  2. Grades Quick thought………. You are 17 Report Cards from Graduating Robbinsville High School!!

  3. Expectations • Academics First– To play on the fields/courts/track you must succeed in the classroom! • No exceptions to school and state rules!

  4. Discipline • If you play in the classroom, you will not play after school! • Accountability • Respect • Work Hard • Commitment • Set Goals • Make a plan • Achieve those goals! • Hours in School = 4 hours to play/practice

  5. Student Code of ConductPledge • All students athletes must sign it • All parents must sign it before you begin a season • All students will conduct and police themselves in a positive manner in and out of school!!!

  6. Student Activity Fee • Student Activity Fees are due prior to the beginning of each season with your sports packet. Once “cuts” are made, students will be notified and the check will be returned. • Checks made payable to Robbinsville Board of Education. $50.00 each student • Will be cashed a couple of weeks later

  7. Transportation • Travel Release Forms must be signed off by the Robbinsville Athletic Department prior to a student being allowed to travel home from a game/match. • Emails to the Athletic Department will be accepted. • No email or no forms, coaches cannot allow a student to travel home with their parents or drive themselves. • No late bus at RHS • Practices must be done by 6:30pm(Fall and Spring) • If another parent has your permission to drive your child, they must send an email also stating that they are picking up your son/daughter

  9. Fall Packet Nights SPORTS PACKET DROP OFF WILL BE ON TWO DATES: June 11th and 12th 5:00pm-7:00pm We will be collecting in high school main hallway. We ask the student-athlete and a parent be there in case of a last minute need. Please enter through the FRONT DOORS!

Fall Packet Nights Fall sports offered in 2019 with drop off date and time: Tuesday, June 11th Girls and Boys Cross Country: 5:00pm - 6:00 pm Boys Soccer: 5:45pm - 6:30pm Girls Tennis: 6:15pm - 7:00pm Wednesday, June 12th Football: 5:00pm – 5:45pm Girls Soccer: 5:30pm – 6:15pm Field Hockey: 5:45pm – 6:30pm Cheerleading: 6:15pm – 7:00pm

  13. Communication • Protocol for a complaint—**24 hour rule** 1. Student speaks to the coaches 2. Parents emails/speaks to the coach 3. Parent/player speaks to Athletic Director 4. Parent/player speaks to RHS Principal 5. Parent/player speaks to Superintendent

  14. Summer Practices • No trainer on campus • Must have a “Release Form” signed prior to starting • Optional, but not mandatory • First day of practices for the upcoming fall season is August 12, 2019

  15. We don’t allow… • Speak/discuss playing time • Discussion about the selection of captains for various teams • Allow parents to attend practices • Stand by the team bench during games • Dictate what events/positions their kids will be playing in • Drive kids to games/matches w/out permission • Pictures on sidelines unless prior approval

  16. Vacations/Off Season Workouts • Students will practice/play 6 days a week • Holiday breaks- students are expected to be at practices/will have games, each coach will have their own set of rules/expectations prior to the season • Consequences will be enforced if athletes miss during this period of time • Excused absences from practices: family wedding, funeral, SAT/PSAT/ACT, religious reasons, college visit, etc.
