Tuesday, December 3 • Open agenda to today’s date. • Write quote in composition book. “Don’t let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do,” Coach John Wooden. • Get out a loose leaf piece of paper or complete on edmodo, and journal on the picture and quote. Your journal should be two paragraphs.

  2. Agenda • Quote • Journal • Review active listening • Educreations presentations / take notes over presentations • Intro to “How to Module” • Choose a “How To” topic • HW – Read at least 10 pages in your book. Reading response – What would be different today, if that event occurred in your life?

  3. Active Listening • Eyes on presenter • Smile • Ipads up • Hands in lap (no tapping or noise) • Voices off (no side bar conversations, comments or noise making)

  4. Note taking over presentations • Write down the trait (courage), definition, symbol of today and person who represents trait today. • For each righteous rescuer include his or her name, homeland, how did he or she demonstrate the trait. • Be sure to include details to support main idea of each trait, righteous rescuer 1 and righteous rescuer 2. • Write down at least 1 question for each presentation – a how or why question. Ex. How are the two righteous rescuers similar/different? What else can you tell me about ____? Can you see a possible solution to tolerance? Respect? Compassion?... • You will receive a grade for these notes, and you will use this as a study guide for your final on December 19 or 20, 2013
