  2. boys varsity basketball Round 2 of the district tournament - Tonight 6:00 pm – Swartz Creek vs Lapeer east 7:30 pm – C-A vs Kearsley Tickets go on sale at 5:00 pm. Cost per ticket is $5.00. Charge on cavaliers!!!!

  3. Girls varsity basketball C-a history is in the making!! Come out and support the girls varsity basketball team as they go against midland in the regional final tomorrow night at saginaw heritage hs starting at 7:00 pm. Ticket price is $5.00. C-A VARSITY GIRLS BASKETBALL IS CLAIMING THEIR SPOT IN C-A HISTORY. GO CAVS!!!

  4. Spring sports Spring sports begins next Monday. Is your sport physical on file in the athletic office? If not, make an appointment right away with your doctor or at a clinic to have your physical complete. No physical – no practice.

  5. Boys golf Boys interested in playing golf, there will be an information meeting on Monday, march 10th at 2:30 pm in mr. young’s room. If you are unable to make the meeting, please see mr. young with questions or to sign up.

  6. Boys baseball All boys interested in trying out for spring baseball must have a physical and tryout form completed and turned in no later than Friday, march 8th. Tryout forms may be picked up from coach faculak in room 122.

  7. Girls track Attention girls: spring is starting to come and that means track season is coming also. The outdoor track season begins march 1oth. Practice will be here at the high school everyday from 3:00 to 5:00. if you do not have a physical, please get one asap.

  8. scholarships Rotary club of greater flint sunrise Due: march 14, 2014 Application available in the guidance office Requirements: high school transcript, reference letter, one page essay, financial aid form, must be attending a genesee county college or university, 2.5 gpa or higher, community service

  9. Seniors • TURN IN ACCEPTANCE LETTERS OR OTHER EVIDENCE OF YOUR POST GRADUATION PLANS TO MRS. WHITE IN THE GUIDANCE OFFICE • YOUR PICTURE WILL BE TAKEN AND PLACED ON DISPLAY IN THE COMMONS TO HONOR THE CLASS OF 2014 AND HIGHLIGHT YOUR FUTURE PLANS.

  10. Movie club MOVIE CLUB WILL MEET on friday from 2:30 to 3:30 iN MR. RUSSEL’S ROOM, ROOM 129. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A NEW DAY!!

  11. TEEN AUTHOR FORUM You are invited to the flint public library for the teen author forum to meet chimamandangoziadichie on march 27th. Students will get a free copy of her book, purple hibiscus. Space is limited so please stop by the media center for more information or to sign up if you are interested.
