  • Some important elements in the Circular Letter are:UNHCR in collaboration with the immigration authorities in Indonesia to jointly deal with the refugees or asylum seekers, theFor refugees who have a certificate or letter as a refugee at the time of his arrival, then their status will be clearer and maintenance of their residence permit as a refugee would be easier,Easiness of the above can be given to refugees along the refugee is not breaking the law in Indonesia. It should be noted that refugee status does not make the holder become immune to the law in Indonesia. When refugees in violation of national laws in Indonesia, they may be subject to legal sanctions, as appropriate.
