This exam is conducted only for North East Region. Earlier, only NET Exam was conducted for post of lecturers. But now, after the proposal was put forward for North-East Candidates, North East SET Exam was also started.

It is conducted by Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE). Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE) consists of four subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. 50 MCQs will be asked in the exam which carry 100 marks.

NDA Exam is conducted twice a year: NDA I and NDA II in the month of April and September. It is conducted by UPSC. Only unmarried male candidates can apply for NDA Exam. After qualifying NDA Exam, candidates will be then sent to NDA (National Defence Academy). There candidates will be trained for their respective services (Army, the Navy or the Air Force).
