Nepal is between China and India in South Asia.Nepal is a tiny country and is the 93rd largest country in the worldThe capital city of Nepal is Kathmandu .The longest river in Nepal is the Karnarli river. Mt Everest the highest peak in the world lies in Nepal.

  4. People and culture Most people in Nepal are from parts of India .Most people learn Hinduism but some learn Buddhism and Hinduism. Population of Nepal is 30,485,798 .

Celebrations! • In Nepal there is all sorts of different celebrations .On January14th there is a celebration for all the crops they have gathered .People then put the crops in the holy river and worship the Sun God .It is done to Sun God for good crops . • On March 26-27th it is the festival of color .The two days are the last days of winter, so people rejoice over the time of the starting spring time . People play with all sorts of different colors and celebrate. • On November 3rd it is the festival of lights .Hindus all around Nepal celebrates , they light up candles and worship Goddess of Wealth .Chefs cook traditional food and sell in the streets.

  6. Traditional Clothing On wedding days men wear Daura Suruwal it is made out of a special fabric called Dhaka .Men also wear a matching topi (hat) and patuka (belt) Women wear a dress called Sari which has special stones on them .Women have to wear jewelry on them.
