  2. District Action Planning Meeting • Meets yearly: develop 3 yr & 1 yr RtI:B/PBS goals for district • Topics covered: Leadership Team, Training, Coaching, Evaluation, Funding, Visibility, Political Support, Demonstrations • Date: Add your District’s Date

  3. Your Feedback • Today is your chance to provide YOUR suggestions for the development of your district’s RtI:B/PBS plan • Take 3 minutes to jot down what supports you feel would help you as the: • Coach • Schools

  4. Leadership Team • Add the District Leadership Team members’ names and roles here • Is there anyone else in the district that you feel needs to be represented on the team?

  5. Evaluation • Look at data across all PBS schools in the district to identify needed supports • Utilize Florida PBSES data • What are some positive outcomes you would like me to share with the District Team?

  6. Training Provided • School-Wide/Initial (Tier 1) • Booster/Retraining (Tier 1) • Classroom (Tiers 1 & 2) • Targeted Group (Tier 2) • Individual Student (Tier 3) • Team Leader Training • Principal Training • SWIS/Data Trainings • Coaches’ Training

Coaches’Roles and Responsibilities District-level (external) or School-based (internal) person Education specialist, school psychologist, social worker, behavior specialist, etc. Should not be a classroom teacher Their position provides them the freedom to move across schools Has the skills necessary to effectively facilitate teams throughout the process Attends training with their respective school-based teams and yearly Coaches’ Training Reports to the District Coordinator/attends monthly meetings Collects Mid-Year and End-Year Reports

  9. Coaching • Based on the roles & responsibilities of a coach • What has helped you? • What supports do you need? • What training, if any, do you need? • Do you have any recommendations of individuals to be a coach for new schools? (if applicable)

  10. Funding • What funds has the school used to support PBS (e.g. SIP, PTA, fund raisers)? • What have the funds been used for?

  11. Visibility • What strategies has your school used to make PBS visible to: • Parents? • Community? • What are your suggestions for making PBS more visible within the district?

  12. Political Support • Are discipline, climate, and/or attendance one of the school’s SIP goals? • What political support could the district provide to help you: • as a Coach? • Increase participation at the school? • Who should provide this school support?

  13. Demonstration • Overall, what has your school done well? • Would you recommend your school to be a PBS Model School? Why? • Tier 1 • Tier 2 • What does your school need to do to become a PBS Model School? • Refer to PIC and BoQ data for action planning
