  1. Bellwork • Please take out your notebook and a pen or pencil.

  2. Intro to the Renaissance

  3. Unit 4 Student Self Assessment (Entry 1) • Please read through the Student Learning Targets for Unit 4 and rate yourself in the “Before Instruction” column.

  4. Unit 4 Essential Questions (Entry 2) • In your table groups, discuss the three Essential Questions for Unit 4. Respond to the questions on your graphic organizer in the “Before” column. • The student at your table with the most pets will share a response for your table group. • Tables 1-3 will answer question 1 • Tables 4-6 will answer question 2 • Tables 7-9 will answer question 3

  5. Intro to the Renaissance and Reformation(Entry 3) • In your notebook, title: Intro to the Renaissance and Reformation, create a circle map and list at least five things you know or think you know about the Renaissance and Reformation. At this point, don’t worry about being right or wrong, I just want you to get some ideas going. Things to think about: famous people, artists, writers, etc. Any changes in daily life. Inventions.

  6. Unit 4 Vocabulary (Entry 4) • Use your resources (dictionaries, smart phones, etc.) to complete the vocabulary for Unit 4.
