EuroNGOs Mission European NGO Forum for advocacy discussion and co-operation in the field of SRHR, population and development Works in the context of ICPD Programme of Action and the 12 rights of the IPPF Charter on Sexual and Reproductive Rights EuroNGOs main purpose is to advocate the inclusion of SRHR in international policies and overseas development aid and to mobilise resources for SRHR

  9. Servicing the Steering Committee • Two Steering Committee Meetings held in 2006 • Monthly reports on the secretariat’s activities • Facilitating consultation and transparency between the Steering Committee and the membership/partners

Annual meetings provide a crucial space for networking, information exchange, and initiating action In 2005, Annual Meeting successfully revised: 140 participants from diverse groups and constituencies more than 35 countries represented adoption of a EuroNGOs statement on the MDGs Meetings and skills shares

Skills-building workshops provide an opportunity for detailed discussion on a specific subject area and for advancing common advocacy goals Workshop on collaborative advocacy with the World Bank hosted by RFSU – full report available on EuroNGOs website Workshop on advocating SRHR in the MDGs hosted by IEPFPD – full report available on EuroNGOs website Joint EuroNGOs/IPPFEN/YouAct training on youth participation – draft training manual available from the secretariat Meetings and skills shares
