BACKGROUND • To test the use of stationary and portable BAM technology with satellite communications and web based data presentation in providing quality information for mgt. actions and coordination with air regulatory agencies. • To gain a better understanding of background PM concentrations in selected southern sierra communities. • To gain a better understanding of the contribution of smoke, to PM, from wildfire and prescribed fire in these communities.
