Inspired by People Powered Change • Using BIG’s funding and influence to: • Support and unleash the talents of individuals and community groups • Create the space to celebrate the individuals and communities that make a difference to the lives of people most in need • Provide the opportunity to showcase collaborative activities that we believe will have a long lasting impact

Awards for All • Our smallest grants programme • Apply for between £300 and £10,000 within any one year period • Voluntary and community organisations, schools, health bodies, parish and town councils • Sports activities will only be funded where the main purpose of the project meets one or more the of programme outcomes

  7. Programme outcomes • People have better chances in life – with better access to training and development to improve their life skills • Stronger communities – with more active citizens working together to tackle their problems • Improved rural and urban environments – which communities are better able to access and enjoy • Healthier and more active people and communities

  8. Process and scoring of applications • On receiving your application, a Funding Officer will score your application • ‘Points win prizes’ – scoring more points increases your chances of a successful application • Certain parts of the application score higher amounts of points

  9. Improving your chances • Ways of scoring more points: • Evidencing need • Meeting at least programme outcome • Getting people involved • Smaller organisations with less income
