  2. STANDAR KOMPETENSI Mengungkapkan makna dalam percakapan transaksional dan interpersonal sangat sederhana untuk berinteraksi dengan lingkungan terdekat.

  3. KOMPETENSI DASAR Mengungkapkan makna dalam percakapan transaksional (to get things done) dan interpersonal (bersosialisasi) sangat sederhana dengan menggunakan ragam bahasa lisan secara akurat, lancar dan berterima untuk berinteraksi dengan lingkungan terdekat yang melibatkan tindak tutur : meminta dan memberi pendapat, menyatakan suka dan tidak suka, meminta klarifikasi , merespon secara interpersonal.

Dina : Well , it seemed hard to me 3. Andy : What is your opinion about my new book? Irfan : Well, in my opinion it’s so thick 4. Prabu : What can you say about our new teacher? Wulan : To my mind she is okay. 5. Ratu : How do you feel about the earthquake 2006? Maya : I feel it’s human race tragedy.

  10. EXAMPLE • Rendy : What do you like to do in your spare time? Edo : I like painting. Rendy : I don’t like painting. But I love reading . • Fitria : Do you enjoy hiking? Isma : I’m not so fond of it. I find it very tiring. • Yusril : Are you keen on gardening? Izza : No I am not. • Rudy : Hi, do you like swimming? Anton : Yes, I do. I like swimming very much. What about you? Rudy : I like swimming, too.

  11. ASKING FOR CLARIFICATION • Sometimes somebody tell us something, but we are not sure or still unclear about the information or story. That’s why we want to know more about it, or simply want to make sure whether it is true or not. This is called asking for clarification. • The expression are : - Really ? - Are you sure? - Is that true ? - Are you joking ? - Did he ? - Have you ?

  12. Other expression - What did you say? - Do you mean to say…? - What do you mean by that? - Did you say…? - Could you explain further? - I did’t hear what you said. - I didn’t catch what you said.

  13. EXAMPLES Tasya : Do you know Nadia’s hobby? It’s pretty unique I think. Sarah : Really? What is that? Tasya : She likes to collect dolls. She has more than 100 dolls. Sarah : Are you sure? I can’t believe that. Tasya : Yes I’m sure. I’ve been to her house and she showed me her collections. There is a room in her house, special for her dolls. Sarah : Are you joking? Tasya : No, I’m not. The room is full of dolls that everywhere you turn, you can only see dolls.

  14. PENUGASAN • Make a short dialogue using the expression asking for and giving opinion, expressing like and dislike, and asking for clarification with your friend! • Practise your dialogue in front of the class!
