  2. Vingen is needed Over 1,000 serious accidents where one or several persons end up in the water (PIW) occur every year in Sweden only. About 1,000,000,000 SEK is spent yearly to locate these people. About 40 persons/year drown in open water in Sweden only. If USA/Europaare included, drowning accidents are over 400 times more common. BETTER SAFETY EQUIPMENT IS NEEDED!

  3. Vingen is needed Time is crucial for both survival and cost: – to be able to search a large area during a short time – even in severe weather – may save lives and reduce costs. Project Vingen was started to increase the probability to find a person in water (PIW). In conclusion, the goals are: Saving lives Reduce costs
