  2. Menu – Monday, Feb. 2nd Chicken Nuggets OR Tater Tot Hotdish WW Dinner Roll Seasoned Carrots / Coleslaw Applesauce / Milk 3rd Line- Sub Sandwich

  3. Saturday School • Saturday School (1/31) • 8:30-11:30 in room 127, 129 and West Computer Lab. • Math Support Available!

  4. Polar Plunge Sign-up • Jan. 31st • Spicer, MN • See the poster outside the office • Raise $75 – $ goes to Special Olympics • Under 18 will need parent signature!

  5. Attention Spring Play Cast! • Spring Play rehearsals begin Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 2:30 pm in the auditorium. • ALL cast should attend.

  6. Attention All Students • If you need to leave before the end of the day, you need to check out in the office to get an out of building pass.  • If you feel ill, you are to check out with the nurse before you leave or a parent picks you up.

  7. Math Lab • Math Lab Schedule: • Tuesday – 2:15-4:00 – Ms. Dobratz – Room 226 • Wednesday – 2:15-4:00 – Mr. Otremba – Room 205

  8. Monte Carlo Night • Saturday, Feb. 7th at 7 pm • Gambling, Music, Food, Prizes & Dancing • Professional Casino coming to HHS! • Dressing up is encouraged but not required! • Bring a friend/date (guest forms in office)! • Tickets $15 – purchase in the Cafeteria during all lunches. • If questions, please see Will Kuball, Erika Smith or Britany Howell.

  9. Blood Drive • Wednesday, Feb. 11 • 9 am – 2 pm • Shalom Baptist Church • Sign-ups will be scheduled during RAMP. • If you are 16, you MUST have a parent permission slip signed. Pick up in the office. • Don’t forget to bring your ID to the blood drive! • Sponsored by HHS Student Council. • If questions, please see Tori Kern.

  10. HUTCHINSON HIGH SCHOOL TABLE TENNIS CLUB • Are you busy after school on Wednesdays? If not, come play some Table Tennis in the Cafeteria from 2:30 – 3:30! • For only $15 dollars, you will get the opportunity to play Table Tennis every week and you will get a t-shirt! • Talk to Mr. Berge, Will Kuball or Ethan Juhl if you are interested.

  11. Chemical Health Trend Alert: • Powdered Caffeine is causing deaths. • Ingesting powdered caffeine is very dangerous. Teens tend to underestimate the dangers of use even in very small amounts. • A teaspoon of powder can deliver a deadly punch of caffeine and smaller amounts can cause severe health issues.

  12. Charging Stations now available in the Media Center! These charging stations are provided for your convenience. Use at your own risk. We are not responsible for damage or loss due to charging a device here.

  13. READING LAB • READING LAB with Ms. Larson • Room 116 • EVERY DAY from 2:25-3:30 • This includes any subject that requires vocabulary work, reading, and comprehension!

  14. Attention All Students • Something new for Tri 2! • After school study hall and detention will be held in room 129 Tuesday and Thursday from 2:15-3:00. • Mon. Wed. Friday – Detention will be held in the office conference room. •  Every student must sign in with Mrs. Schwantes.

  16. REMINDER TO ALL STUDENTS! • Students should wait in the foyer after school unless they are with a teacher/advisor or in an activity. • Students are not allowed to just “hang out” in the halls.

  17. Register Your Electronic Devices! • In an effort to prevent theft, as well as increase the likelihood of retrieving stolen or lost items, Officer Berry is offering students the opportunity to register their electronics with him. • Please see Officer Berry, Sarah or Kathy in the HS Office for the form!

  18. Student Chromebooks Available for Checkout! Any Student who would like to checkout a Chromebook during the school day must complete a USER AGREEMENT form (must be signed by a parent or guardian). Chromebooks and paperwork are available in the media center. Stop in today to check one out!

  19. School Wi-Fi and Streaming Streaming Media using the School Wi-Fi is for academic purposes! When you stream media, it effects the entire district’s internet speed. Please be mindful of using our technology appropriately. Using our school’s technology is a privilege. It is not ok for you to stream audio from sites such as Pandora, Spotify, I Heart Radio etc. It is not ok to stream video using YouTube, Vimeo, Netflix, etc. unless it is for academic purposes. It is not ok to play streaming/flash games in the computer labs from sites such as Addicting games, Kongregate, Flash-Game, etc. We all thank you for sharing our Wi-Fi responsibly!
