  3. Football Autograph Night! • TODAY (Fri.) • Tigers vs Orono • Gametime is 5:00 p.m. • Autograph signing will take place in the gym after the game. • Come support Tiger football!

  4. Math Lab • Math lab schedule: • Tuesday from 2:15 – 4:00 in Mr.  Otremba’s room(205) • Thursday from 2:15 – 4:00 in Ms. Dobratz’s room(226)

  5. Come to the High School this Sunday (Sept. 15th) for our first FCA Huddle of the year! • We will meet in room 129 at 6:00 p.m and finish by 7:30 p.m. • Take time out of your day to enjoy friends, food, fun, Dodgeball, and a Bible lesson. • We hope to see you there!!!

  6. Homecoming Nominations • Homecoming Nomination forms will be available in the office beginning Monday, Sept. 16th and ending Thursday, Sept. 19th at 1:00 p.m.   • Students can nominate a student in their grade level to be on the Homecoming Court by completing a nomination form and returning it to the office no later than 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19th. 

  7. Assembly, Tuesday 9/17 • On Tuesday September 17, HHS will be holding a BMX bike show for students beginning at 10:45 in the parking lot with the theme of bullying prevention.  • Parking will be limited in the HHS parking lot.  • Please plan to use Shalom Church’s parking lot as overflow parking.  • Carpooling or riding the bus on Tuesday will help reduce the need for parking spaces as well. 

  8. Project Leadership • Each year, HHS takes up to six students, typically sophomores, to the West Point Leadership Seminar in Minneapolis. Led by West Point cadets, the highlight of the seminar remains the small group sessions led by cadets on topics of character, ethics, values and leadership. • Anyone interested in attending, please contact Mr. Walsh by September 20.

  9. Are you a high school (middle school) student who’s making a difference through volunteering? • If so, go to http://spirit.prudential.com to access the online application. •  The Prudential Spirit of the Community Award recognizes the top local, state and national volunteers. • The deadline for application is Tuesday, November 5, 2013.

  10. Are you interested in a joining a chemical health support group this year? • Mrs. Morrow, the  Chemical Health Counselor will be offering a support group on Fridays during Ramp. • For those students that would like more details; please stop by room 130 and pick up an information sheet.

  11. Project CARE • Project CARE is a free program that helps families with students who are uninsured or underinsured enroll in a public healthcare program. • Project CARE staff can explain these programs and help you decide if you qualify for coverage and will provide free help through all steps of applying for MNCare or MA. Contact Project CARE at 320-253-0121 or projectcare@mylegalaid.org if you are interested.

  12. Register Your Electronic Devices! • In an effort to prevent theft, as well as increase the likelihood of retrieving stolen items, Officer Berry is offering students the opportunity to register their electronics with him. • Please see Officer Berry, Sarah or Kathy in the HS Office for the form!

  13. Attention 10-12th Graders • If you need to make up a credit and are 16 years of age or older, you can begin to register for night school this week. • Please see Sarah in the HS Office for more information. • M-Th • 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. • HS Library

  14. Breakfast in Foyer • Check out the breakfast in the foyer from 7:10-7:30!

  15. Interested in CAMPUS LIFE? • The Campus Life group will start to meeting every Thursday starting on Sept. 19th in Room 129 from 2:30-4:00 pm.
