  2. CSU Early Assessment Program • Students are told that participation is a plus! • Time to complete the test questions is provided to all 11th graders. • Participation and pass rates are increasing.

  3. Enrollment • District = 24,995 (2004 CBEDS) • 11th Grade = 2091 • Percent ELL in Grade 11: • La Puente HS 21% • Los Altos HS 6% • Wilson HS 7% • Workman HS 28%

  5. District Policy on Parent Notification • All parents are notified of State test results in a timely manner. • We mail all results to the home, with information in the primary language, or a reference for translation assistance. • Our usual translations are Spanish and Mandarin, with “Boxes” in Korean and Vietnamese.

Exam Administration Activities • Test notification • Forward CSU EAP letter to students • Notify sites of EAP testing window and materials return deadline • Remind sites to set aside special testing time for EAP essay and that both the essay and the MC items must be completed • Test administration and processing • Train sites in test administration procedures • Check in all EAP materials after testing • Pack and send materials to the scoring center • Load results to student information system
