Joint Technological Education Districts (JTED) Created in 1990 JTEDs are public high schools that “cost effectively deliver specialized …career and technical course offerings” 13 JTEDs in Arizona Almost every high school in Arizona belongs to a JTED district Even those who don’t (example: Yuma) are working towards establishing a JTED

CAVIT: Brief History CAVIT was founded in November 2000 by voter approval CAVIT began formal operations in 2001 in rented office space CAVIT and the City of Coolidge partnered in building a site for our central campus programs, which opened in 2008 The City of Coolidge was extremely generous in working with CAVIT CAVIT works to give back to this community partner
