  2. England is a country that is part of the United Kingdom. It shares land borders with Scotland to the north and Wales. The capital of England is London. Today London is thelargest metropolitan area in UnitedKingdom.

London London is a leading global city, with strengths in the arts, commerce, education, entertainment, fashion, finance, healthcare, media, professional services, research and development, tourism and transport all contributing to its prominence. It is the world's most-visited city. In 2012 London became the first city to host the modern Summer Olympic Games three times.

  5. The Mall is a road in London running from Buckingham Palace at its western end to Admiralty Arch and on to Trafalgar Square at its eastern end. The Mall was created as a ceremonial route in the early 20th century. The surface of The Mall is coloured red to give the effect of a giant red carpet leading up to Buckingham Palace.
