  5. National Anthem England has no official national anthem of its own; generally the United Kingdom and Commonwealth anthem, „God Save the Queen", is used.

  10. Short History of England The first people lived in England about 450,000 BC. At that time England was much warmer than it is today. During the 19th century Britain was transformed by the industrial revolution. Life was hard for the working class at the beginning of the 20th century. In 2009 England suffered a severe recession but by 2010 the nation was recovering and England remains a rich country.

  11. Additional Information -England is the second largest economy in Europe. -The Windsor castle is the oldest royal residence in the world still in use. It is also the largest. The world's oldest public zoo was opened in London in 1828. -The English love their tea. They consume more tea than any other country in the world. Their tea consumption is more than three times of Japan and a whopping twenty two times more than America or the French.
