  1. England London ERIKA SANLATTE

  2. Travel Plan • I will leave at T.F Green International Airport in Providence , Rhode Island • I will land at Gatwick International Airport in London ,England. • The flight will take 7 hours. • I would bring a novel with me to read and a travel guide to see what I can do in England.

  3. Weather… • I will travel in the month of June because they say it is the best month in England. • The weather may change. Some days it may rain and others not. But they say that June has the most finest days. • You should bring clothes that’s not to thick or thin. Possibly jeans, long sleeved shirt and a sweater. But don’t forget a rain jacket! It does rain.

  4. Packing • Other than clothes, you should bring on your trip to England.. • A camera for capturing memories • An umbrella ( just incase it rains) • Prescription medicine personally for you • Money for shopping and spending • And the London A-z travel book

  5. Money • The money in England is called pound. • .62 pounds is equal to $1 in the United States. • If you are planning to stay there for 2 weeks, an estimated amount of money you should bring is around $1000 (in U.S money).

  6. Cites and Towns • I would like to visit: 1. London, the capital city of England. It is one of the top cities in England. It’s great to visit for the sites. There is the famous The Big Ben and Hyde Park and more! • 2. York, also another on the top cities in England. They have famous gardens to see such as the Breezy Knees which has over 6,00 different flowers! There is also the historic Castle Howards. If you like to get scared there is also ghost walks such as the Haunted Walk of York. • 3. Leeds, anther on the top cities of England. If you get tired of site seeing then this is the city for you. Leeds has an array of restaurants, clubs and entertainment, and opera houses, theatres, and ballet companies.

  7. Famous Landmarks • Windsor Castle: it’s the oldest and most occupied castle in the world. There is beautiful gardens surrounding it. Plus it’s the residence of the majesty, the Queen! • Tower Bridge In London: it’s one of the most famous bridges in the world. The towers are covered with Victorian design. It is one of London’s beloved landmarks. • The Big Ben: is a part of the beautiful Palace of Westminster. It has beautiful Victorian gothic style.

  8. Food • Fish and Chips ( battered cod or haddock fish with a side of yummy fires). • English Muffin Bread • Popovers ( a type of bread) • Classic Sponge Cake Sandwich ( a cake) • I think that fish and chips is the best. I have eaten it before and I think that it is delicious!

  9. Language • Just like us, the British say “hello or hi”. • The British say “ta-ta, cheerio or toddle hoo” for good-byes. • Just like us, the British say “please”. • Most of the time they say “cheers” instead of saying “thank-you”.

  10. Be careful! • As in every country, always watch out for picket pocketing! Keep your items close to you. • Most importantly, have a great time in the beautiful country of England!
