  3. What are ENGLAND’S Natural Resources? • Farmers in England grow barley oats • Farms have ether cattle or sheep • Farmers work to make milk or cheese • People make and build buildings • Make cars

  4. What are England’s Holidays? • Christmas is the most popular holiday • BURNS NIGHT is where you wear traditional clothes. They eat a special kind of food called haggis. Boys dress up in skirts with a little pouch in the front.

  5. What are the National Monuments? • Big Ben is a famous clock • Stonehenge is a popular group of stones

  6. What are their Sports and Games? • Baseball which they call cricket • Football which is actually soccer

  7. What Language do they Speak? • English, but they have English Slang • Bird means woman • Bloke means man • Brekky means breakfast • Brolly means umbrella • Kip means sleep • Loo means bathroom • Mate means friend • Telly means television
