  4. Meeting Schedule • November 17, 2010 (Thursday) • January 18, 2012 • February 15, 2012 • May 23, 2012

  5. Current Attendance • 9th grade – 518 • 10th grade – 474 • 11th grade – 453 • 12th grade – 492 • Total Enrollment – 1937

  6. Staff Training • SIOP – Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol • 9 sessions between now and mid-February • Required for all teachers • Sign up in ASCEND – 4.5 hours of DMA credit awarded once sessions have been completed • 1st session – Tomorrow!

  7. Department Highlights : Career & Technology Education • PTLW – Project Lead the Way – • a nationally recognized Pre-Engineering program • Requires certification of staff & site so students can earn college credit • Site visit scheduled sometime between February 1st & May 15th • Will have 5 engineering classes by the end of 2013-2014 school year

  8. Staff Training • Response to Intervention • Purple folders – team meetings over the next 2 weeks • Updated Flowcharts – District & Campus • Teacher-driven process • Implemented with fidelity • May take time

Principal/Associate Principal • 1st Semester Exam Schedule • December 5th – Exemption Request Forms available • December 7th – Completed exemption forms due to AP’s. • December 9th– Exemption rosters posted • December 12th – Change in exemption status forms due to AP’s • December 13th-December 16th– Exams (7, 1-2, 3-4, 5-6)
