  5. You will be expected to use strategic learning in your courses

  10. Post-baccalaureaute students • Have baccalaureate degree completed • Take at least 45 credits at the UO • May need math or language • Must complete requirements for major

  11. ALL International Students • Attend full-time • Most courses are 4 credits • Take at least 12 credits per term • Maintain at least a • 2.0 GPA (C average)

  12. How UO Works • Fall, winter, spring, summer terms • 10 weeks of classes, 11th week is exams • Exams and assignments throughout term

  14. How UO Works • Attend ALL classes, participation important • Keep up on assignments and readings • Studying and class time = about 8 hrs/day

  17. Understanding the UO Grading System • Grades: A (=4.0) B (=3.0) • C (=2.0) D (=1.0) F (=0) • + and – grades (B+, B-) • Grade Point Average (GPA) • (maintain at least a 2.0/C average) • Pass and No Pass option
