  1. Manufacturing Processes, MET 1311 Dr Simin Nasseri, Spring 2008 Mechanical Engineering Technology Department, Southern Polytechnic State University The slides will proceed automatically.

  2. The students in Manufacturing Processes course, are required to prepare seminars at the end of the semester. In these seminars, they choose some specific things we use in life and explain how they are manufactured. By the end of the semester, the students become familiarized with various “Engineering Materials” and their properties. They also know about all the important processes related to metals and polymers. In these seminars, the students explain how these processes are used to manufacture the objects they have chosen.

  3. Through these seminars: • The students review what they have learnt, • They learn how to use new software to present their seminars, • They also improve their interpersonal communication skills, and • They become more interested in manufacturing processes!
