Energy Environment RES Energetic efficiency TRADITION AND INNOVATION OVM-ICCPET- important and the oldest institute in Romania in the thermopower field, has its origin in the Energetic Institute of the Romanian Academy, created in 1948 for solving the field scientific research issues. ICCPET CERCETARE – has entered the private field in 2001, becoming OVM-ICCPET – a Romanian-German company with major German capital, being part of the group of German companies OVM / ECH. Oskar von Miller –has established in 1891 in München “The OvM Technical Office” consulting company in engineering and for the Germany electrification; has started the bases of the “Deutsches Museum” settlement, the first technical and engineering museum in Germany, presently the biggest one in the world. 2009

Energy Environment RES Energetic efficiency OVM-ICCPET– has tight relationships with the energy sector representatives, with governmental and non-governmental organisations in the field and is currently involved in numerous projects with them. OVM-ICCPET – has benefit from European funds for international projects in the energy field, inclusively the promotion of the clean technologies for using the fossil fuels and new and renewable energy sources in programs such as: Know How Found, Eureka, Phare, NATO, INCO-COPERNICUS, SAVE II, ENERGIE (FPV, FPVI, FP VII). OVM-ICCPET– has developed research projects in programs corresponding to PNCD I and PNCD II, following which, it has defined technical and technological solutions that it promoted in contracting works with the economical agents in the field. 2009
