  3. Los debates This term we will have 8 short debates. Each person will have one debate where s/he defends the motion and one where s/he attacks it. For the other 6 debates, s/he will have the role of either supporting or criticising the argument, through questions, discussion, and giving opinions. Everyone must have prepared enough to talk in every debate. Each person only has the major preparation role twice this term and will make a presentation of 2-3 minutes laying out their arguments for or against the motion. Then there will be some discussion (up to 10 minutes) and finally a vote.
