  2. Jotter (I) Jotter is the general JET electronic log programme. It is used by all Control Room personnel to record details of what happens during a session At Unix prompt type xjlsforms jotter & Click on the Binocular icon to Get a list of jotter Entries for a week

  3. Jotter (II) ( because JET is not in operation, the weekly jotter will not make a lot of sense  choose a more meaningful week )

  4. Jotter (III) – select suitable datewindow

  5. Jotter (IV) – weekly overview

  6. Jotter (V) – Session comment

  7. Jotter (VI) – SL Session comment

  8. Jotter (VII) – SL Session comment

  9. MAXFEA (I) MAXFEA is a fast G-S equation solver It can be used to quickly compute plasma equilibria To run it ( on Unix ) At Unix prompt type fsimtp & this “touch panel” will open ( with lots of useful SL utilities … ) Click on “Barabaschi”

  10. MAXFEA (II) On next panel click on HDD Divertor to select the boundary for the 2008/09 divertor ( ILW not available yet ) Then click on Barabaschi 06/12/2007 Any Terminal to start the most up-to-date version of the programme

  12. MAXFEA (IV) Before you start calculation I suggest that you zoom a bit more in to the poloidal cross-section Click on Zoom Then on Drag Window Then select a suitable window Note : select right lower corner first, then left upper corner

  13. MAXFEA (V) Load circuit file ( containing all the data needed to compute a specific equilibrium ) Click on Direct (i.e. launch direct calculation of equilibrium starting from currents in PF coils Then click on NO Then click on the big M at the top
