E-PORTFOLIO IMPLEMENTATION TIMETABLE • Transition (T) year – from 2014/15 • Full implementation for all T year MBBS students • All assessments completed on mobile devices • Clinical Placement and Professionalism (CPP) Certificates completed online • Penultimate (P) year – from 2015/16 • All assessments completed on paper in 2014/15 • Final (F) year – from 2016/17 • All assessments completed on paper in 2014/15 and 2015/16 Assessments Training Session

E-PORTFOLIO IN T YEAR – ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES • What SGUL staff need to do • Before the start of an attachment: • Creating student accounts in MyProgress before the start of a new academic year • Creating tutor accounts in MyProgress before the start of each placement for clinicians responsible for students’ sign-offs • Throughout the attachment: • Maintaining regular communication with students to monitor progress • After the attachment: • Generating data reports for grading purposes Assessments Training Session

E-PORTFOLIO IN T YEAR – ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES • What Trust UG administrators need to do • Before the start of an attachment: • Inform SGUL staff of local sign-off procedures for students • Provide contact details of all clinicians responsible for students’ sign-offs – name, email address, student(s) assigned • Throughout the attachment: • Maintaining regular communication with students and with SGUL staff as and when necessary • After the attachment: • Inform SGUL staff of any potential delays to the sign-off process Assessments Training Session
