  2. At the end of this lesson, students should be able to: • Modify Table : Add Field • Modify Form • Import Data from other file type

  3. Modify table: Add field Method 1: Add field after the last field. Click Design button at database toolbar windows Students Profile: Database, to display all the fields. Click icon design view Figure 1

  4. 2. Click field below icno (refer Figure 2) 3. Type in email inside the Field Name and select text as the Data Type. Figure 2 4. Save the record.

  5. Method 2: Add new field in between the two fields Click Design button at database toolbar windows Students Profile: Database, to display all the fields. 2. Click the address field (the row will be highlight - refer Figure 3) Step 1: Click icon design view Step 2: Highlight row Figure 3

  8. Modify form 1. Open Microsoft Access 2003   2. Click Open an Existing Database, then click file students profile and click OK.  3. In the database window, click Form and double click Create Form by using wizard. Step 2 Double Click Create Form by using wizard Step 1 Click Form Figure 6

  10. The selected Fields will be remove from left to right. • Then click Next Click Next Figure 8

  15. Importing Data • 1. Open Microsoft Access 2003 • 2. Create new database file • 3. Click file • 4. Click Get External Data • 5. Click Import
