Collagen gives structure to bones, cartilage and blood vessels. • It helps in the absorption of iron. • It also helps maintain your capillaries, bones and teeth • Vitamin C is essential for healthy gums, fighting gingivitis, and healthy vision

  3. Where is it found? • Oranges • Orange Juice • Strawberries • Grape Fruit • Cantaloupe • Tomatoes • Broccoli • Red and Green Bell Peppers

  4. Any other facts? • Vitamin C is also called ascorbic acid • Very large doses of Vitamin C can help you when you’re sick • Vitamin C is water-soluble. That means it can be easily absorbed and moved through the body.

  5. How much Vitamin C should I eat? • It is recommended that you eat 1 1/2 cups of fruit high in vitamin C each day. • You have to eat vitamin C each day, because it is always being used up in your body. • You should eat your vegetables too! They also contain Vitamin C
