  3. Vision and Mission Our goal is to enhance student academic achievement using the strategies outlined in our 2003-2004 School Improvement Plan.

  4. SIP Strategies for Reading #14. Students will be provided with additional reading exposure and practice through the use of multidisciplinary sources.

  5. Partners can... Provide volunteers to read with a child.

  6. SIP Reading Strategy for Reading #13. Reading instruction will be delivered school-wide by using components of the Sterling Process in creating the “Reading is Achieving” program to motivate students to acquire the inner desire to read.

  7. Partners can... Provide incentives such as... • Trophies • Small Prizes • Gift Certificates

  8. Partners make a difference Whether you have two, 200 or 2,000 employees, you and your employees can serve as mentors, tutors and guest speakers; provide field trips, or you can donate materials and offer your facilities for career orientation and skills training.

  9. SIP Math Strategy #10 Students on a math AIP will work in small groups reviewing skills and improving mathematical abilities.
