  5. Coverage : Institutions : Approval Vs Achievement (Pry) No. of Institutions 98% 98% 94% ASER, 2012 - MDM was served in 86% schools on the day of visit. MDM not covered in 5598 new schools (under construction ), 799 NCLP, 16 Madarsa & 194 merged schools etc. Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India

  27. Coverage of Institute under School Health Programme Aashirwad Bal Swasthya Guarantee Scheme for the year 2012-13 has started from 1st February 2013 with the result the State has shown zero performance till December 2012. Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India

  30. Findings of Monitoring Institutions • The hot cooked meal not regularly served to the students in Gonda, Raebareli Ambedkarnagar,Mahoba due to non availability of conversion cost,food grains. • Cooking cost reaching late to schools– 1 to 4 months.(4 months late in Firozabad) • Children Dissatisfaction- The Quality of MDM is not better, Lack of green vegetable and Menu based food. • Children are not happy with Daliya and rice & the quantity is less in S.R.N.Bhadohi,Gorakhpur,Raibareilly,Gonda,Mahoba,Jhansi,Hathras,Mathura,Etawah • The quality of food supplied by NGO was not good in Ghaziabad,Gautam Buddh Nagar,Baghpat, Ambedkar Nagar • Payment to the cooks was irregular -1 to 3 months.(3-5 months late in Firozabad)

  31. Findings of Monitoring Institutions. • Kitchen-cum-stores not constructed in S.R.N. Bhadohi(14%), Gorakhpur(21%), Fatehpur(22%), Allahabad(31%) in visited schools. • Delay of food grain delivery in Ghaziabad(PS-14.28% and in UPS 5.88%), Amroha(4 (16%) PS and 1(7.14%) UPS ). • The quality of food grain not good in (12% in PS) in Baghpat, (4.76% PS) Ghaziabad • Drinking water facility in defunct position in Bhadohi (4 schools),Gorakhpur(4 schools), Deoria(13schools), Fatehpur(13 schools), Allahabad (13schools). • UPS chowk (Amroha nagar) from july to 31.08.2012 the MDM has not started. The selection of cooks has not been done the school has also not received any grant for the above. • Health cards were not in Schools and children are also not given micronutrient-medicines. • The utensils are Insufficient in some of the schools
