  1. Welcome Welcome to Camp Zoneat Chesterbrook Academy Toddlers - Intermediates Camp Zone® offers fun-filled summer programs! During the summer, campers jump into action, participating in exciting sports programs, exploring nature, becoming involved in performing and creative arts, playing a part in group activities, and attending special events. Our campers have the opportunity to expand their horizons during the summer, embarking on new adventures, and having fun! Our exceptional program and dedicated staff create an environment that forges lifelong friendships among our campers. We create a summer experience that is unforgettable! It all starts with our outstanding camp counselors! A camp is only as good as its staff, and we are extremely proud of ours. Talent, creativity, love of children, leadership and devotion make our camp counselors the heart and soul of the program. Camp Zone® counselors are doing exactly what they enjoy most: spending a summer inspiring campers to explore, reach for new heights, and expand their horizons. Themes The Camp Zone Experience Toddlers- Intermediates Imagination Express, come and ride with us Summer 2011 “All Aboard!” Hop on board the “Imagination Express” as we chug-a-long on a journey through our imaginations! There will be many things to explore and discover from How to work on a farm to the adventures of outer space, all the way to the adventures of Great books or up, up and away into the limitless Sky! This will be a summer your child will never forget. Week 1 – June 21st – June25th – “Summer Camp Kick Off” –Welcome to Camp!! During Transitional Week we will welcome new campers and get ready for fun in the sun!! Our Summer Camp BBQ will be on Friday June 25th. Let the fun begin!!!! Week 6 – July 26th – 30th– “Messy Art and A World of Color Week” PREPARE TO GET MESSY! We will focus on using one specific color each day. The children will also get to wear their favorite color on a specific day! Week 2 – June 28th –July 2nd-”Farm Week”! Howdy Folks! This week we will explore all the awesome things that are on a farm. Week 7 – Aug 2nd-6th – “Outer Space” Blast off as the Imagination Shuttle launches into outer space. Prepare for a visit from an Astronaut that will surely send you on a journey into the great unknown among the stars! Week 3 – July 5th – July9th– “Celebration of the Senses ” Touch, Taste, Smell, Seeing, and Hearing. We are going to use our senses to go places with our Imaginations. Each day we are going to focus on one of the 5 senses. Week 8 – Aug 9th – 13th– “Book Lovers Week” – Board the Imagination Express as we go different places in great books. Week 4 – July 12th –16th– “The Wild Outdoors” – Fans of nature will love this week. Campers will go Crazy when we get a visit from a wildlife show. With Magnifying lenses and a bug net in hand we will check out the natural bug habitats out on our wonderful playground. Week 9 – Aug 16th –20th – “Recycle, Reduce, Reuse” The Campers will learn how important it is to recycle! They will get the chance to see how many things can be made from recyclables! Week 5 – July 19th – 23rd– “Picnic and Ice Cream Week” I Scream, You Scream, We all Scream for ice cream! Campers will have a blast making their own ice cream this week. Picnic time!! Pack a lunch of all your child’s favorites for Picnic lunch day. Week 10 – Aug 23rd – 27th– “Cowboys and Cowgirls Week”- This Week the Campers will get a taste of the wild, wild west. We will strut our stuff on the back of a Pony. So be sure to dress the part.
