  4. GLOBAL HEAD COUNT • 35 Producing Countries • 70 current stockpilers • Used in 39 Countries or disputed territories • Transfers to 60 Countries, perhaps more? • Billions of “killers” still at large globally

CCM best framework to get assistance to deal with the problem • Preventive • Make your Children proud! • Strengthens stigma • Leadership • Solidarity affected countries Humanitarian impact outweighs military utility. All countries should join the ban, there is strength in numbers.

  13. Approaches • Adoption( a country, Regional, sub-regional, bilateral) • Make it your cause • Speak out as a nation! • Attend International fora • Involve all ministries/agencies • International cooperation &assistance • Go it long nationally!
