  4. one warmout in the woods there was a girl named Omakayas. she was a very pretty girl. she had long black hair and eyes to match. Omakayas was picking berries for her mother. while she was quietly humming, two black bear cubs came tumbling out of the bushes.

  5. Omakayas new that bears could be dangerous. And if there were babies than there had to be a mother somewhere. The mother bears could be ever more dangerous. Omakayas started to look around, she didn’t see anything, were these two cubs orphans? Omakayas started to back away slowly. As she was backing up, she felt something behind her, something with lots of fur. Oh no! the mother bear was there!

  6. Omakayas started to talk to the mother bear very quietly and very slowly. The mother bear believed that Omakayas did not want to hurt her children, so the mother bear did not hurt her. But they did follow her as she started on her way home.

  7. When Omakayas got home she say that no one was there. “what do I do now?” Omakayas whimpered although she was seven she did not like to be alone. “where did everyone go?” the whole time the bears were watching her. Sad for Omakayas. Her family was gone

  8. While Omakayas was looking around for her family. She saw the bear family. The mother bear came out from the bushes and asked her if she would like to live with them. Omakayas was panicking so she said yes.

  9. The bear family brought Omakayas to their home in the mountains inside a cliff. To them it was home, to Omakayas it was cold wet and dirty. “I must learn to like it for I can not go home and have nobody be there” Omakayas sighed.

  10. Omakayas started to get used to the cave up in the mountains months passed by and more and more Omakayas was missing her family soon she decided that she needed to go and look for her family. On that day coming back from the bushes she had never went to town. She decided that she would go and see old tallow.

  11. Omakayas and one of the bear cubs started off for the village and they knew it would take them a long time to get there.

  12. They were almost at the village when they heard a rustling coming from the bushes. All of a sudden a wolf came bounding out from behind a large bush. It growled and bared it’s teeth. They knew that they could not out run the wolf so they decided to climb. They each found a tree and climbed they climbed till they reached the top of the tree.

  13. Omakayas and the bear cub stay up in the tree till they can’t see the wolf anymore. They slowly climb down the tree and start to run on the path. The wolf it waiting for them behind a bush.

  14. Omakayas notice that the wolf is behind them again and they are about 100 feet from the entrance of the village. If they could just pass the gate then they would be safe.

  15. Omakayas was out one day picking berries for her mother. When all of a sudden two bear cubs came rolling out from a bush. When the bears follow her home and she can’t find anyone, the bears decide to make her one of their own. Omakayas and the two bears will have many adventures while trying to get out of trouble.
