Objectives: • improved capacities of PDCs in partnership with LGUs for self-sustaining development & improved access to basic services • strengthened institutional support mechanisms to promote collaboration & enhance coordination for continuing support to peace building & development; and • a positive environment of mutual trust & confidence among the peoples and institutions in Southern Philippines for lasting peace

  5. 160 PDCs recognized and supported by LGUs through provision of technical and financial assistance and are able to access and mobilize resources OUTCOME AREA 1: PDC Strengthening Component Goal Progress towards result Empower communities to promote sustainable human development Planned Result Strengthened the capacities of 140 PDCs to collectively plan, mobilize internal and external resources and organize community development in partnership with the local government units
