  1. DaejaJo Ford The origin of my whole name!

  2. How I got my name.. • I was given the name Daeja because: D stands for Damon (my step-brother), A stands for Angela (my mom), E for Eddie (my great-grandpa), J for Jamil (my step-brother), and A for Anjeanette (my aunt). • I guess my mom wanted to be creative by naming her child Daeja.

  3. Meaning of Daeja.. • The origin of my name means: • Daeja- “already” from the French phrase ‘deja-vu’ meaning “already seen” • I looked up the word “Deja” for the meaning because that is how the name is commonly spelled.

  4. How I Feel About My Name.. • Sometimes I like my name, and sometimes I don’t. • Like, for example, when people spell my name, I don’t like my name, at all. This is how some people spell it: Deaja, Dajea, Deja, Daega, Daga. It gets pretty annyoing. • My name is not very common. I could not find anyone with my name, except someone from a different school. • I like my name when people can’t pronounce it and I have to tell them how to say it. It makes me feel intelligent.

  5. How My Middle Name Came To Be • I have Jo as a middle name because almost all the women in my family have Jo as a middle name. For example: Amanda Jo (my cousin), and Jennifer Jo (my great-aunt).

  6. Meaning of Jo • Jo- a diminutive of Josephine which means: May Jehovah add/addition to the family.

  7. How I Feel About My Middle Name • I actually like my middle name. First, because most of the women have the same middle name as my, and I feel honored to share it. • Second, it’s easy to spell! • Third, because it can be spelled masculine or feminine. • Popularity of Jo, see picture below.
