  6. Introduction - Structure What elements should be included in the introduction of a presentation? OK. Perhaps we could start now? Good morning, everybody. My reason for speaking to you today is to describe the importance of quality service in the banking field, with specific reference to the systems we have introduced at the bank. As new recruits, it is important that you understand the emphasis that we, at the bank, place on serving clients. My talk will be split into three parts. In the first part, I intend to talk a little about the retail banking field in Hong Kong in general. In the second part, I shall focus on what I mean by quality service. Then, I would like to suggest ways in which we can all adopt a customer-centred approach in our dealings with clients.

Firstly, I want to go through some of the equipment we commonly use on assignments. Then, I'd like to give you some information about the picture filing systems we have - as you can imagine we hold huge stores of photographs and these need to be stored efficiently. Right, if I can begin with equipment ………….

  9. Right. Good afternoon. Can we start now? My aim this afternoon is to tell you something about the bank telling training scheme we operate at the Regional Training Centre. The structure of my talk will be as follows. Firstly, I intend to define the role of the teller in the bank. Next, I shall outline some of the features of our training scheme and try to describe how it fits into other training at the bank. Last, I would like to make a number of suggestions about how the scheme could be adapted for different banks.

(E)(Two-subtopics) • Both of these attractions provide entertainment and interest for all people, and I’m sure that many of you would also like them. (A) • The next time that you are feeling at a loose end in Tuen Mun, why not try one of them? (D) • You many need time and some money, as I’ve explained, but I hope that you will see the value of such an investment. (F) • I’m sure that you will find them worthwhile. (C)
