  2. About Us • Since 1984 the PIRGs have helped to register 1.7 million young people and made 1 million personal reminder contacts • We are the largest non-partisan student mobilization efforts

  3. About Us • 2004: Helped register 500,000 young people and made 500,000 get out the vote contacts. Increase turnout by 11%

  4. About Us • In 2008, 76.3% of people we helped register to vote turned out to the polls, and 65% were new registrants – both were the top numbers for youth organizations
