In June 2010, Iowa's CIO Office hired Georgina Dodge as the new Chief Diversity Officer. With a dual reporting structure to the President and Provost, she oversees the Disability Planning and Action Committee and Web Accessibility Planning. Starting with a webAIM workshop, the initiative covers policy and platform development, support groups, and future plans for app devs, LMS, and faculty sites. Seeking insights on plan implementation from IT communities, the CIO's background includes work with the WM group and experience at UF.
