  1. Employee Orientation By: Lianna Brown, Kaitlyn Franklin, and Deaana Fisher

  2. Location We are located at 2560 Virginia Beach Boulevard

  3. Hours of Operation We are open on Monday through Friday from 6o’clock in the morning until 6 o’clock at night. Our business hours on Saturday are from 12 o’clock to 8 o’clock. We are closed on Sundays. Monday-Friday: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM Saturday: 12:00- 8:00 PM Sunday: Closed

  4. Chain of Command If the children or parents have a problem, they would first go to the babysitters who are aware of the situation. If they can’t resolve the problem, then should go to the managers who will talk with the parent and try to solve the problem. If the problem is not fixed, the child or babysitter might have to leave the center.

  5. Uniform We provide the employees with a Kidz Zone Childcare shirt with the logo on it. The employees will have to wear the shirt and their own pair of kakis. No other uniforms will be permitted while employees are working.

  6. Sick Policy If an employee of Kidz Zone Childcare will not be here, they can e-mail us, call us, or they can go to our website and go to the employee tab and tell us there. Employee’s are allowed 3 sick days a month. If it is an illness that is not cured in the 3 sick days given, then, contact us and we will have another employee fill in for you. Until you are sure you are not sick, please don’t come back to work. We do not want the children getting sick.

  7. Company Calendar They company calendar is posted in the workroom. It includes the days that we are closed, schedule for each employee for each week, and days that people can take off.
