  2. How Democratic was Andrew Jackson? Andrew Jackson was a complicated president and was sometimes democratic. Evidence • Wants more people to have an opportunity to run for office.(1) • Jackson wanted more people to get the chance to vote.(3) • Jackson forced he Indians to move out of the pan handle.(6) • Jackson had a lot of slave holdings in the mid 1830’s.(9) • Jackson reminded the most people of a king(10)
