  1. Representatives from association “Lidere” with relatives and friends visited Aglona’s enterpreneurs and enjoyed popular hospitality of Latgale. Latgale is the Eastern part of Republic of Latvia.

  2. Farm-stead “Mezinieku House”

  3. Latgale usually is called “Lakes Land” because of many beautiful lakes and scenes. We had the possibility to swim in warm water of lake Cirisu.

  4. We had leave some personal belongings on the bench with aim to come back in safe before we visited mysterious lake “Certoks” (“certoks” in Latgalian dialect means “devil”)

  5. We played the game and were in the role of “little brave heroes”

  7. We met real Devil and he tested our knowledges of mathematics, songs etc. before gave our belongings (which we leaved on the bench) back.

  8. After the meeting with Mr.Devil we viewed Aglona’s Basilica

  9. In “Solomina Manor” we enjoyed tradicional Latgalian courses Bulbisniki

  10. In the homestead “Trepes” everybody had the possibility to do something

  11. Owner of Aglona’s Bread Museum - Vija Ancane told us very interesting story about bread history. We tasted rye-bread and enjoyed herbal tea

  12. Women milled rye grains and men danced – those actions had to know every ancient Latvian poeple

  13. Enjoyed Aglona and Latgale we went home
