  2. Detector types • Standard bulk detector (1mm pitch, 128 µm gap) • CLK(2 MΩ/☐) + prepreg (75µm) + bulk: • Grounding by vias • Resistive strips (ink ~100 kΩ/☐) + bulk: • 1 mm pitch • 0,5 mm pitch • Joerg-like detectors: • 250 MΩ along the strips • 30 MΩ between resistor and ground

  3. Setup • Measurement through a 1MΩ resistor • Detector divide in four parts • Sparks triggered by an alpha source • HVdrift = -450 V • HVmesh up to sparks arising 1MΩ Oscilloscope /// /// /// ///

  4. Standard prototype Sparking HV  -330 V Current~ few µA

  5. Carbon-loaded Kapton type 50 V difference !! Sparking HV  -380 V Current< 500 nA

  6. Resistive strips Sparking HV  -340 V Current< 500 nA

  7. Joerg-like prototype Sparking HV  -350 V -350 V Current< 50 nA -360 V Current < 100 nA -370 V Current < 300 nA HV = -350 V

  8. HV = -360 V
