  1. The English language is native for almost 400 million people, and it’s the second language for more than 1 billion. Nevertheless, English is the third-widespread language in the world after Chinese and Spanish.

  2. The oldest words of English are about 14000 years, for example, such words as ”apple”, “bad”, “gold”.

  4. In English the names of all continents start and finish with the same letter.

  7. The most exploitable letter of the English alphabet is “E”, the less – “Q”.
