Zhang Dong, Anne, Mary Task: Anne and Mary are walking in the street . Anne happens to meet Zhang Dong, her neighbor, who has moved away for a long time, so Anne introduces Mary to Zhang Dong. back

  31. difficult sentences • (Para. 2) My hair is dark brown but there is not too much left on the top of my head. 我的头发是暗褐色的,但头顶上剩下的头发已经不多了。 not too much; here refers to the hair left on the top of my head: past participle phrase used to modify the pronoun much e.g. I have so much work to do in the lab. But there is little time left before the end of the year. back
